 Weather
There is little that matches the
allure of Cape Coral's climate. Where else can you
experience Caribbean sunshine, California sunsets, and
modern amenities at an affordable price?
The winter season, October through April, offers
temperate days, little rain, refreshing breezes, and all the
environment you need to enjoy life outside. The grass is
green, but rarely needs cutting. The days are sunny, but
highs only get to the 80s. The skies are blue.
Summers are warmer - with highs in the 90's and a cooling
shower almost every afternoon. But Florida is prepared for
the sun. Our buildings are built to remain cool, and every
home, business and car has air conditioning. Waterfront
property can moderate the temperature, keeping the air
moving and cooling the adjacent ground.

Anywhere you choose to live, there are
natural disturbances. In Florida, the news has covered the
unusually active hurricane season we had in the past few
years. Florida is well prepared for hurricanes, with strict
building codes, experienced emergency personnel, and the
best technology for spotting and predicting hurricanes
before they are anywhere close to the state. Most natural
disturbances don't give residents the long warning and
preparation time that we have from hurricanes!
The majority of coastal Florida lies in a 100 year flood plain. Not all Cape
Coral property requires flood insurance. |
